Booking and cancellation terms

Dear Guests,
Please read carefully the booking terms and cancellation policy of Hotel Sant'Andrea below:

Booking
Each reservation, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to the current Italian legislation, binding both for the person who makes the booking and for the hotel. You can send a availability request and wait for our response.
Alternatively, you can book online following the instructions available on our website www.hotelsantandrea.com
Following the request, you will receive an (non-binding) offer with the booking details.
The reservation is confirmed only after our written communication stating the total price of the stay and after the deposit or sending a credit card to guarantee it, any deposit to be made within 3 days from our confirmation.
If the payment is not made in time, the reservation is to be considered as null.
The reservation becomes binding for Hotel Sant'Andrea only when we receive a copy of the receipt of payment of the deposit or the data of the credit card on which to make the authorized withdrawal.

At this point the Hotel will endeavour to send the customer a confirmation e-mail or a summary voucher to be presented at check-in.
The confirmation of your reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms.

We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the above confirmation and to inform us as soon as possible any anomaly.
The communication must be received within 4 days of receipt. After this deadline we disclaim any responsibility for any misstatements.

On arrival it is mandatory to present an identification document for each person including minors.

Change your booking
To make changes to the reservation you must contact the reception staff, who will do everything possible to fulfill your request.
However, we cannot guarantee that this request will be fulfilled.
In case of a booking change to a period where the price is higher than the amount paid, the customer is responsible for paying the difference.

Payment
General Conditions
The following are required:
the payment of a deposit no later than 3 days from the date of confirmation of the reservation. The deposit is 20% of the total amount of your stay. Or a credit card number (not prepaid) with authorization to withdraw the amount equal to the deposit confirmation (20%).
In case of non-receipt of such information or the deposit by the dates indicated, the reservation is void. The same applies to the balance of the stay in case of non-refundable rates.

As provided for by the Civil Code to art. 1385, will not be returned in case of cancellation or non-presentation, except exceptions agreed with the customer.

Accepted payment methods: Cash
Bank transfer
Credit card.
The balance of the reservation must be paid at check-in.
Any extras must be paid before departure.

Send the copy of the receipt of payment by email: info@hotelsantandrea.com indicating the date of your reservation, telephone number and e-mail address, you will receive confirmation.

Prepayment, "Non-refundable" Payment
If this special rate is booked, the full amount will be charged to your credit card or requested by bank transfer at the time of booking.
The full amount is not refundable in any case.

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation of a reservation must be communicated in writing.
For the cancellation conditions please refer to your booking confirmation.
In case of cancellation or changes made up to 20 days before the expected date of arrival, the amount paid as a deposit will be retained and no additional penalty will be applied.
For cancellations or changes after the aforementioned deadline, the deposit amount will be retained and will be charged (on the credit card given as guarantee), or requested a payment in compensation of the cost of 20% of the stay for each room canceled, for cancellations made from 7 days before the check-in date will be retained the deposit paid and charged or requested payment of 40% of the total amount of the stay booked as compensation.
This cancellation policy is not valid for the "Non-refundable" rate.
Hotel Sant'Andrea reserves the right to credit the total amount due in case of cancellations after these periods.
No refund is due to the guest who decides to interrupt the stay already undertaken and therefore is required to pay for the entire stay booked.

No Show: (no-show)
In case of no-show, the deposit will be retained and the balance for the entire amount of the stay will be charged or requested.
